About Hawa Mahal
The Palace of Winds has 953 small windows called jharokhas. Built so royal women could observe street festivals without being seen. The five-story exterior is only one room deep at the top. Designed like the crown of Krishna. The pink color gives Jaipur its name as the Pink City.
